It is in a businesses best interest to ensure that their data is accurate in order to stay visible in the local search results.
While it is the business’s responsibility to ensure that their data is accurate and consistent, it is not always their fault when it’s not. Due to the number of different avenues local search sites use to acquire and cross-check their data, listings could change as frequently as every 6 days!
